I needed a coach before I became one.
For years I built an impressive portfolio. Big clients, demanding rooms, work that looked like the thing you're supposed to want. I was good at it. I was also pulling my energy from an empty barrel.
To keep going, I made myself believe the mask was me. I told myself the part of me that knew this wasn't the life I wanted was the part to suppress. As a gay man, a lot of that was about proving something, being undeniable, leaving no room for doubt about whether I belonged.
That version of me, the one who could dream and still moved through life connected to who he was, was never gone. He got buried under the performance.
Coming back took the same work I now do with other people. Mindset, coaching, and movement, used on myself first, to take real steps toward a life worth building. Now I help other people build on the other side.
